Most of the time, I’m a positive person - a “glass half-full” kind of a guy.  I do have to admit though there are times that I’m not always at my best.

And that’s not good.  We do our best when our mind is in the proper mindset

We think better, we perform better, we’re more creative and life is just more enjoyable.  More importantly, believe you me, your success and fortune is directly related to your attitude and mindset.

You’re going to always have one at all times, attitude that is, might as well make it a good one.

So what’s one to do when we get a little down?  We need to learn how to motivate ourselves.

Here’s an absolutely sensational little trick that works for me nearly 100% of the time.

It is powerful and effective!

Music is a great way to get you up when you feel down or frustrated.  All of us have our favorite songs.  Some songs bring back memories; some motivate us while others remind us what’s important in life.  Songs makes you feel good about yourself and life.

Here’s what you need to do:

1. If you don’t already have one, go out and purchase a portable MP3 player and have your music box with you at all times.  iPods are great.

2.  Make yourself a personal collection of your motivational and inspirational songs.  You can rip songs from CD’s or you download these from several sites on the internet for $.99 each even some sites for FREE.  Just make sure it’s legit.  (If you get your jollies from illegally downloading .99 cents tracks, you need to work on that.  There’s something to this karma thing you know).

3.  When you start to get discouraged, or need a little motivation – Listen to the Music.  Watch how quickly your mindset will change.

I usually use this little trick before I write in my blog. I just finished listening to U2’s “Where The Streets Have No Names”.   That song always gets me pumped.

You can listen to it on my MySpace page.

To Your Success…
