If you’re selling a product online… say an eBook that generates $50 in commission, how many would you have to sell to make $1,000? 20
If you’re selling a product online that generates a whopping $1,000 per sale, how many do you have to sell to make $1,000? Only ONE.
Now which one do you think would be easier to accomplish?
I promise you, it’s much easier to sell the ONE vs. the 20… even with the price differential.
The thought that a low-ticket item is easier to sell is just a myth.
Look at it another way… do you think it would be easier to sell a Malibu or an Lexus?
I’d say it would be about the same. Now would you rather make the commission from selling a Lexus or from selling a Malibu? I’m not familiar with the commission structure in the auto industry but I bet you that a salesperson makes more money selling a Lexus and it’s just as easy to sell. It all has to do with target marketing.
Now if you’re thinking about trying to sell a Lexus to a poor person, that’s a different story… but who in the world would try to do that?
If you’re struggling making money online, consider this:
- It doesn’t take any more time to market a high-ticket product
- It doesn’t cost more in advertising or marketing a high-ticket product
- It doesn’t take anymore time setting up your sales system
- It doesn’t take any more time to make contacts (actually MUCH less time)
- You’ll go through the same number of NO’s to get to a YES
Get the picture?
Stop punishing yourself and start generating more money.
Really now… at the end of the day, which is more important - how many sales you make or how much money you make?
Looking for a great high-ticket item to sell? Follow these steps…
- Select a product that’s in demand where there’s lots of people who want and need your product.
- Select a product that has a high value to cost ratio.
- Be a product of the product. Use it yourself so you can speak of it’s value from experience. Don’t misrepresent the value - Integrity is so important.
- Building relationships is key with marketing high-ticket items. People will think more about their purchase and will buy from people whom they know, like and trust.
Believe you me when I tell you, there are people who can afford the higher valued items. It’s your task to find them. If people see the value in your product and service, and they like you, they’ll find the money.
To Your Success…
